Old man on the corner of the street,
Crying out to me.
Saying child did you know that you’re
leaving someday,
To a place that you can’t see.
Wake up my friend, get your bible off
the shelf,
Wipe it off and read.

Old man guess that I’ll be on my way,
Gotta go, you see.
But the old man standin there on the
corner,
Seemed to reach inside of me.
Some how the old man made me think
And a question came to me.
How in the world could he have ever
known

It was dusty like me.
When I looked inside I found myself
Looking at eternity.
