Blessings Every Day
The view seen from my window
Would any heart delight,
As luscious hills and valleys
Provide a stunning sight.
The murmur of soft breezes,
The warbling of the birds,
The patter of the raindrops,
Make the sweetest music heard.
The scent of honeysuckle,
Lilac, rose and pine,
Can titillate my senses
and create a joy sublime.
I walk in dew-kissed
meadows
And fell the morning sun,
And twinkling stars and moonlight
Appear when day is done.
I taste the varied pleasures
Of life's miracles each day,
And count the many blessings
That the Lord has sent my
way
