THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE  LORD HAS MADE 

Fall is the most lovely time of year and nearing once again
With warm days and cooler nights no one ever complains
A sweater may be needed at evening's football games
Come tomorrow, it's warm again and perhaps some rain.

Oh, the colors of reds, browns, greens and golds
Is a sight for every eye to savor and behold
Walking along with crisp sounds under our feet
We can hear chirping crickets miss not a beat.

On a Fall night, take a walk down Lover's Lane
To reminisce old memories over and over again
We see squirrels scampering; storing nuts away
For they know that Wintertime is on it's way.

We watch the birds go flying south
Where it's warm away from the draft
The "V" formation is a sight to see
While God feeds them, you and me.

Fall is a time to be thankful for the bounty
We can store up for those cold days ahead
Let's give thanks to God for all that He gives
For our enjoyment and for everyday He lets us live.

As we put up our rakes and hoes for the season
Let us know for sure Jesus is the only reason
We have an abundance of food to eat
A roof over our head and a bed to sleep.

In every Fall, God's love is present in all things
Just as He is there in Winter, Summer and Spring
Each Season He carefully designed to slowly change
Let us carefully choose Jesus and call upon His name.

Enjoy the Fall days and nights and every sight to behold
For just around the corner old man Winter brings the cold
In Fall and in every Season ahead, there's nothing to dread
Let's give God praise for everything as we bow our head.

No matter what the Season may presently be
Give God thanks and enjoy all He gave so freely
Enjoy Fall! it's the most colorful time of year in all we see
Fall is that special time of year God gave to you and me.
