The fabled Lovers' Moon
illuminates the night.
Shining upon a couple with
its magic light.
They treasure just one thought
two hearts so crystal clear.
To hold in their arms one that is so dear.
One that makes life worth living
just by being near.
They promise that forever
together they will be as they bathe
in the magic that others do not see.
So if you feel that you are lonely
and hope to find love soon.
Look toward the heavens and make
a wish on the Lovers' Moon.

Moon Maiden
She holds in her hand a celestial light.
To bathe mortal lovers on a starry night.
Its' brilliance is that of the sun
but its' glow is softened as two become one.
She feels their need within her own heart,
and watches as their spirits depart.
They ascend to the heavens and dance to loves tune.
And the glow of their love overshadows the moon.
She is not lonely though she has no mate,
keeping watch over lovers is her fate.
So when you walk in the moonlight as lovers do,
send a love thought to the Maiden watching over you.
