Gen 1:27 So
God created man in His [own] image; in the
image of God He created him; male and female He
created them.
Gen 2:8 The LORD God planted a
garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man
whom He had formed.
Gen 2:9 And out of the
ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is
pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree
of life [was] also in the midst of the garden, and
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man,
saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may
freely eat;
Gen 2:17 but of the
tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall
not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you
shall surely die."
Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man
and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was
more cunning than any beast of the field which the
LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has
God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree
of the garden'?" Gen 3:2 And the woman
said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the
trees of the garden;
Gen 3:3 but of the
fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the
garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor
shall you touch it, lest you die.' "
Gen
3:4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will
not surely die.
Gen 3:5 For God knows that
in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened,
and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
Gen 3:6 So when the woman saw that the
tree [was] good for food, that it [was] pleasant
to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make [one]
wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave
to her husband with her, and he ate.
Gen
3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and
they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed
fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the sound of the
LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the
day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the
presence of the LORD God among the trees of the
garden.
Gen 3:9 Then the LORD God called
to Adam and said to him, "Where [are] you?"
Gen 3:10 So he said, "I heard Your voice
in the garden, and I was afraid because I was
naked; and I hid myself."
Gen 3:11 And He
said, "Who told you that you [were] naked? Have
you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you
that you should not eat?"
Gen 3:12 Then
the man said, "The woman whom You gave [to be]
with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said to the
woman, "What [is] this you have done?" The woman
said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

LYRICS TO
THE BLAME GAME
It all
began with Adam and Eve Eve told Adam, “I've been
deceived That old serpent over there Promised me
wisdom beyond compare And furthermore, Adam, He told
me a lie He promised me I would not die”
Adam
knew God couldn't be pleased He was so ashamed he was
wearing leaves 'Cause Adam knew he had taken a
bite He turned white, nearly died of fright When
God asked him why Looked him straight in the
eye Adam blamed Eve much to her surprise

CHORUS

Game With the Blame Game
“Adam,” said God,
“Get a life You're gonna have kids take care of a
wife” Then Adam was the first of many a man Who
blamed God for the mess he was in
“God,” said
Adam, “Now look down here It was you who made that
woman appear She complains both day and night She
says our kids have had a fight” “Adam,” said God,
“Cain's alibi that's an excuse not quite a lie
was, “I am not my brother's keeper I clean Eden
been runnin' the sweeper”
2nd CHORUS
The
Blame Game justifies your actions Makes someone else

the door You won't need it anymore With the Blame
Game With the Blame Game
This was the second
time in history When there was jealousy, sibling
rivalry The first time I think that you'll
recall Was when Lucifer made his great big
fall Ever since time began excuses mark the fall of
man
3rd CHORUS
The Blame Game justifies
your actions Makes someone else the main
attraction Just throw your conscience out the
door You won't need it anymore With the Blame
Game
“Now, Adam, this Blame Game is
getting you nowhere, honey, but wearing scratchy
leaves for underwear”
It's the Blame Game It's
still the same It's the Blame Game It's a dog-gone
shame It's the Blame Game
